  • 1.  SMS TFN/10DLC - Customization of Help/Info & Stop

    I am working on creating an SMS Outbound campaign for my organization.. and I had 2 quick questions for the community that I wasn't able to answer:

    • For my TFN and 10-digit long codes.. Can we customize the Help/Info & Stop responses that are sent back to the customer? Or, are we stuck with the "Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg&Data Rates May Apply" message?
    • If we can customize the message, how do we go about doing so?

    Hi Peter,

    I believe you can do this in response management (see attached) and attached to you campaign. You can make custom messages, but they have to have STOP in there somewhere. Also, when you apply for the campaign via Genesys, I think they will have a say in what is in that message.

    Peter,
    I believe these messages, along with the responses to "STOP" etc. are sent by the SMS broker. I can add your own, but I suspect these will be in addition to, not in place of, the once currently sent.
    Certainly, you can't customize the response to a STOP since the broker enforces this (meaning you can't reply!)
