  • 1.  Sound Notification When there is a call in queue

    Hi Everyone,

    In one implementation, the business needs to sound notification when there is >=1 call in the queue for all supervisors the queue.

    I try to use "Alerts Rules", but I need sound notification together pop-up.

    The supervisors need sound notification for alerts because during work will use email, sheets, other systems, CRM... and Genesys Cloud page is running in backend or minimized.

    Does Anyone have some solutions or tips?

    Hello Breno,

    I don't believe that we have that functionality in the product just yet. I do see that someone recently suggested something similar in the Product Ideas Lab, and there is another Idea that is similar that is currently marked as Future Consideration. You could have the alert send them an email/SMS message to help in instances where Genesys Cloud is not in focus.

    As Jason said, there is not a function to have a sound on alarms yet.  What you can do is notify by SMS or Email and let your phone or Email audibly alert you.  

    Going out on a limb here:

    You could send an alert to an email address that routes to a queue that could then audibly alert you when it arrives.  Same for SMS, but that would be a lot of setup if you are looking at multiple users.
