  • 1.  SSML Tags and Voice Bot Flows - Configuration without errors but not working as expected.

    Hi,

    Is it possible to have a detailed list about the SSML Tags that are accepted and effective, in case of "Genesys Enhanced TTS" is selected?

    Verified that some of these are accepted, but effectively not working.

    After configuring this, on a Voice Bot, on a "Conversation" block and selecting the "Communication Sequence Builder", it was found that these are accepted, and no error is displayed, but in fact not changing what was expected to be modified.

    Please find hereafter some few examples:

    ToCommunicationSsml("<prosody volume=\"loud\">The message playback volume is now loud</prosody>")

    ToCommunicationSsml("<prosody volume=\"-6dB\">The message playback volume is now lower than before</prosody>")

    ToCommunicationSsml("<emphasis level=\"strong\">This is highly important</emphasis>")

    Also read, that these SSML Tags are not fully compliant if used associated to any of the available TTS engines in the market.

    Could you please help me on this particular request and need?

    We have some customers asking to have the possibility of customizing the TTS by means of the SSML Tags.

    Hello Jorge,

    It doesn't look like there is a list of supported SSML Tags. It looks like you have already asked in Configure SSML in call flows so BYOT TTS can be customized to sound polished and professional but it may be worth asking this in the Genesys Cloud Developer Community as well
