    Hi @George Ganahl, sorry to go straight to you, but I need a quick answer if possible. ​Is there a particular reason PureCloud does not allow for T.30 and T.38 faxing? We have run into a few customers that need to send to T.38 customers and they will not go.

    Hi, Angie. Sorry for the delay-I'm in all-day meetings in Arizona. 

    Development looked at industry standards and determined that it was not necessary to support T.38 any longer, so they made a decision to just support T.30 with the PureCloud Edge.

    My organization was told on a call with a Genesys rep back in late April that T.38 faxing support WOULD be coming. I wonder if some of the other things he said like faxes to email, auto retires, and cover page enhancements will ever come? Or will development determine that industry standards mean that they no longer need to support faxing at all?

    Speaking of industry standards... For our heaviest fax using org, we had to knock the Edge down to 2400 baud to get any kind of reliability since no error correction without T.38.
