  • 1.  Unable to resend an invite

    Scenario: A new user was created in Genesys Cloud, and an invite was sent. However their company email address wasn't created yet, so the user did not receive the invite email. We have now created their company email address, but cannot resend a Genesys Cloud invite from the interface.

    When I attempt to Send Invite, the interface says: "User already has a pending invitation".
    I have tried setting user to Inactive, then Active, but Send Invite will not resend, just keeps claiming "User already has a pending invitation".

    I would consider this a bug.

    You can select the agent from the People list then use More Actions to Send Invite.

    You will have to use this API with the Force option.

    Hi George,

    After sending the first invite you can only send a new one if the user change the password.

    What you can do is generate a random password for this user, then you will be able to send a new invite.
