Hi Folks,
I’m reaching out to get some insights on using the Preview API in a production environment. Specifically, I’m looking at this endpoint:
Get API v2 Conversations - ConversationId - Summaries
What risks or limitations should we be aware of when using this Preview API in production? Are there any challenges or best practices we should consider before moving forward with it?
Appreciate any feedback or experiences you can share!

Hi Ramesh,
Preview APIs are in the final stages of being delivered to production. While there is not likely to changes in contracts for a preview API, there is not guarantee that the API will not change (including a breaking change). Preview APIs are often released in support of beta release and they do not have to follow our breaking changes policies.
Thanks, John Carnell Director, Developer Engagement

Preview endpoints are usually part of a beta program and may be access restricted to participating orgs. You can get more into and sign up here: https://community.genesys.com/communities/genesys-cloud-beta-hq?CommunityKey=cbd2f140-168a-4c15-aacb-af2b23aa4329

@John_Carnell How much time will it take for a preview api to release to public api? Other query is does all preview apis will be released publicly?

I can no longer see the API in the Preview APIs section. Is it just me, or is everyone experiencing the same issue? I can't seem to find the API anymore.

Hello,
If you mean the GET /api/v2/conversations/{conversationId}/summaries endpoint, it is because it is now in the public Platform API. Which means the API Endpoint has been publically released. Here now in API Explorer: GET /api/v2/conversations/{conversationId}/summaries
