    Aloha GC Community,

It'll be great if someone can share their experience while trying to have agents to use external keypads such as the one Genovation Control Pad CP24

    Thanks!

    Ozzie.

What are you planning on using it for?  I could imagine that an operator could have transfer points and the Genovation could call Genesys API's to initiate these transfers, but that would take a bit of testing to see if it is possible.  What are you thinking of doing?

    Hi Robert,

The agent expectation will be to transfer the Keypad available once they're in a Live Interaction. My team indicated that maybe is possible to program the buttons to mimic the keypad (0 ~ 9, * and #)  but we wonder if the other controls (Hold, Mute) can also be used via such keypad.

    Thanks for your help.

    Ozzie.

You are looking to do a heavy lift for this.  For one, you will have to make API calls for each of the buttons.  Second, you need to do that with User Context, so  you will have to get that first.  What is the business use case for this that the on-screen controls can't do?
