  • 1.  Voice Input and Noise Reduction Settings in Genesys Cloud

    Hi team,

    We are using an AWS bot within Genesys Cloud to collect user inputs. Since the input is processed in AWS, I'd like to check if there are any configurations on the Genesys side to optimize the voice input before it reaches the bot.

    Additionally, please let me know if Genesys provides any options or settings to reduce background noise during voice interactions.

    Hi Haridass,

    Do you mean agent side input or customer side inputs?

    For agent side you can enable Noise Suppression to remove background noise: Set Genesys Cloud sound preferences

    For customer side this is more challenging, as Genesys Cloud is processing the audio stream it receives from the customer. I did find this thread on the community referencing some possible solutions in the App Foundry: Background noise suppression on calls

    Hello Haridass,

    If you are using something related to Bot Flow within Genesys, such as intent collection, there is also an option to reduce the recognition of external noise.
