I worked with both webflow and wix, but I think it is the same pattern. In addition to Robert, in my experience, I used the Widget version 1.0. You need to configure an html embedded code option in wordpress in order to set both the HTML component and the Javascript logic of the widget, including the Generated Script Tag of the PureCloud cofiguration. But, to get your session problem solved, you have to specify in the chatConfig object variable the following property:
reconnectEnabled: true
This allows you to maintain the session that was stablished by a customer with your contact center, while he/she navigates between your web pages in which the widget were included. So, you have to include the same widget with the reconnectEnabled property setted in true in all the web pages you want to get the customer journey session maintained.
