  • 1.  Web Messaging - Transferring to another Messaging queue with skill and language skilll.

    Hi,

    I'm trying from an agent script to add a blind transfer button to another Web Messaging queue, but with a specific skill and language skill.

    Ex: Client reaches the General web messaging queue with English as a language skill and the agent needs to transfer the client to the General web messaging queue with Spanish as a language skill.

    I found the Script Blind transfer action, but I can only select a queue not an associate skill.

    We haven't done this ourselves with Web Messaging, so I'm just spit balling here.
    But take a look at this API
    https://developer.genesys.cloud/api/rest/v2/routing/#patch-api-v2-routing-conversations--conversationId-
    Which lets you update the Priority, Skill and Language skill of an interaction even while its in Q.

    Shame there is no In Q Messaging flow yet.

    But hopefully the above API gets you started.
