  • 1.  Weird static issue with TTS in flow

    We've got a weird issue here with a TTS prompt.  TTS text is set within the text field in Architect's user prompt config.  For some reason this one particular TTS prompt starts to play and at around the same point in time of the prompt it starts to just play a bunch of white noise/static then seems to later on go back to playing the rest of the TTS prompt fine.  It doesn't happen with every call, and we haven't had reports of this happening anywhere else we have TTS used.

    Has anyone come across this before?

    What TTS engine are you using?  Are you able to capture this in a recording or a PCAP?  Tried using another TTS engine?

    Hi Robert

    It's using en-nz under Amazon Polly.  Unfortunately this org is PCI enabled so I cannot capture media etc. I have changed the Polly voice to another language and it plays fine.

    I have a case open to Genesys Care in the meantime.

    Why don't you look at the Genesys Enhanced TTS with the NZ voice?

    Customer has their own AWS instance they're using for this so prefer that integration and voice.
