  • 1.  What does the app.user.max.channels limit exactly mean ?

    Hi, 

    In the following documentation (https://developer.mypurecloud.com/api/rest/v2/organization/limits.html#platform_api) it is mentioned the limit key "app.user.max.channels" as "The maximum number of active channels per OAuth client per user. = 20", I would like some help to make sense of this description, could you please provide an example of how in practical terms this description can be used to know how many active channels an Org can have ?

    For example: In my understanding this description means that I can have up to 20 different Notifications WebSockets open with Genesys Cloud for each different OAuth client created in Genesys Cloud and I can have as many OAuth client as I have Users created in Genesys Cloud (People), but this don't make much sense and I think it is wrong, with this logic if have 100 users in Org I would be able to have 2000 notifications socket channels open with Genesys Cloud.

    Just discovered by testing that is the limit of created channels one auth token can have, now have oppened the topic https://developer.mypurecloud.com/forum/t/how-many-concurrent-active-auth-tokens-can-i-have/10284 to further final conclusion about this notification limit subject.
