  • 1.  Whatsapp support in PureCloud

    We are exploring to use Whatsapp as a channel to chat with our human agents. 
    1. Does Genesys Purecloud support whatsapp integration? What are the current limitations? Is there some detailed documentation on it?
    2. We also want to programatically send structured messages to the user. Does Genesys provide any API using which we can send a whatsapp message to the user?

    Can we use the conversation API: https://developer.genesys.cloud/api/rest/v2/conversations/ to send whatsapp message to the customer (assuming opt-in)

    This is something on the roadmap, but not sure when that might be released.  I know it is tied to the web messaging work being done to replace chat services.  Good question for the roadmap webinar next week.
