Did You Know........about Multi-Screen Genesys CX WEM Setup.

Did you know that you can open Genesys CX UI multiple times (even while it is a web UI)? Make sure to setup your multi-screen or big-screen to have all your required WFM/WEM tools visible and to hand.

Whilst I understand that using multiple tabs/windows in the WEM space is pretty much the only way to efficiently operate - we are always advised by Genesys Support that multiple tabs/windows are not supported and that Genesys Cloud CX can only be opened ONCE.

Why do multiple concurrent Genesys Cloud logins cause problems?

Genesys Cloud does not support multiple concurrent logins to the same account. Genesys Cloud considers the following scenarios as multiple concurrent logins:

  • The same account logs in to web app on multiple tabs or browsers
  • The same account logs in to the desktop app and in web app
Using multiple tabs/windows in Genesys Cloud will result in issues/problems - and this should not be promoted until it's officially supported.
