    Hi, is there any way to configure a user session timeout? So user has to login again due to inactivity

    No out of the box, but what you could do is put a monitor on user status and if they go to Not Responding or in a particular state for a long time, you could issue a logout through the API, and that feature is now in Beta soon to GA.  There are caveats to that call, so you would have to consider them before using it.

    So that feature will be implemented soon in the platform you say? In that case, it's not worthy to make customizations, but thanks for the alternative

    A customer is asking this to minimize the impact of long term inactive users to concurrent license count

    It will still require customization once the APi feature is released.  It only allows an agent to be logged off, but not to monitor one.

    It will still require customization.  This new APi feature allows remote log off of agent but the monitoring and action would have to be written.  Add it to the ideas site

    This is not a solution, it's just a behavior that I have noticed.

    When the computer goes into sleep mode, the platform sets the user status to Offline after 30 seconds.

    The same is true if the Internet connectivity is lost or the agent closes the browser.
