    Does anyone else find this banner at the top of every page annoying?

    I'm glad it wasn't just me!

    I emailed @Matt Lawson and posted about it over in the Casual community... https://community.genesys.com/discussion/qq-give-us-a-holidaydate-and-get-a-prize

    It is a common failing of international companies based in the US to forget that these things don't have a global appeal. I don't mind them building a community, or even creating a single post, but the banner on every post got VERY annoying!

    Anyone else have an opinion?

    Hey Robert, always appreciate the feedback. I did mention this in the other thread, but it has a lot of replies, so I'll save you some time:

    The motivation behind the banner is that a large portion of community members discover the site through Google or various search engines and what they land on when they visit the site is a discussion post, so they may not see the community home pages, other discussions, or the wonderful Genesys Casual Community. This banner was our way of trying to get some new people to join the ummm...well Madness.

    March Madness seemed like the perfect test event because 

    1. I like supporting college students/athletics,
    2. It is a popular event (inside and outside of the community), and
    3. The banner was only on the site three days max. In fact, I think it was pulled before you made this post.

    Don't worry, we have no intention of doing it for EVERY contest.
