Genesys Cloud - Main

Hi All,

I am working on a PoC involving Genesys Cloud Open Messagining, I am following the instructions mentioned on the Genesys Documentation (Get Started With Open Messaging)

I have configured webhook URL which will route the request to my test environment which is behind a API gateway, when there is a outbound or inbound message to the integration. 

Problem/Question: (How to verify at Genesys side if a webhook is sent and response code from the destination for that request)

My application is not receiving the webhook request from Genesys Cloud. Now there can be multiple reasons for this like API gateway rejecting the request, firewall.

My question here is, is there a way to verify at Genesys Cloud side to see if the webhook request was sent for a corresponding message and the response code.

We can use third party site like Webhook.site or https://requestbin.com, But i am wondering if there is a way at Genesys side to verify this. 

Meanwhile, i have requested API gateway logs too.

Hello Subin,

You cannot directly access raw data action logs or detailed webhook response codes in the Genesys Cloud UI. Currently, only Genesys Cloud Product Support has access to detailed execution logs, including specific error messages, response codes, and failure reasons. If you need deeper visibility, you'll need to contact Genesys Cloud Product Support.

With that being said, I think that your best route would be to use a 3rd party site to isolate and capture the actual HTTP response codes from your webhook endpoint.
