Thanks, Brian.
Any other alternative? Because they have a process in place where users are prompted to update the application if admins have rolled it out on the central platform.
So there is no way to bypass the admin privileges to install?

Rohit

If they're performing installation from some sort of admin tool like SCCM they'd likely need to disable automatic updating (instructions in here).

Hello members,
We have a customer who is still using the Genesys cloud Desktop application for their agents. Now they want to upgrade it to the latest version which has been tested and worked well. However, when they rolled out the application using SCCM, users were prompted to update their applications but got stuck because of the admin privileges required for the installation.
Our customer is checking if there is any way we can bypass it or any easy way where admins do not have to go to each desk to complete the installation.
Any idea would be appreciated.
Regards,
Rohit
