    Hi,

I've noticed that a lot of times, when you look at an interaction's timeline, or pull the interaction details using the API, flows are referenced by GUID.

Now, that's all well and good, but is there a relatively easy way to figure out which flow that ID points to? I can't see an API endpoint that takes a Flow ID, and a search i the UI doesn't reveal much...

    Thoughts?

    TIA

    Thanks, Melissa!

Silly me was looking under "Flows" instead of "Architect" :-o

Sorry that is confusing.  The endpoints under the flows section are for analytics about flows.

    No problem.

Of course the issue could be avoided if the Interaction Timeline showed the Flow name, which would be actually useful, instead of a GUID or the town that the corresponding DNIS is registered in....

Maybe I should head over to Ideas ;-)

Do you have a screenshot?  I want to say it should be showing the name, as long as you didn't do anything like delete the flow.  But maybe you're looking in a different place than I am.

    Sure!

Although I will send it privately, if you don't mind.

    And mine,

At the very least if we could copy the GUID from the timeline view, that would already make life so much easier. But yes the actual name would be amazing in the Timeline view.

File a ticket with support, they have a way to make it happen

@Melissa Bailey, If I'm reading that correctly, it seems that the "default" is not what most folks want (GUIDs and no copy & paste) but it can be rectified by opening a ticket?

I would think it should be the standard.

I don't disagree.  Tell support that when you file a ticket.
