    Hi everyone,
    I'm looking for a way to access live data and reporting from Genesys Cloud in Power BI.
    I'm not interested in using 3rd party connectors. Could someone help outline what alternative options are available? 
    If anyone had success using the live API query ? if so any documentation?

    Hello Dennis, 

    One option is to use the Analytics Query API directly. This lets you pull both real-time and historical data from Genesys Cloud using REST API calls, and you can connect it to Power BI through the built-in web connector. It gives you a lot of flexibility in what data you pull (like queue stats, agent performance, etc.), but it does require a bit of setup. Things like OAuth authentication, building queries, and managing refreshes. So it's powerful, just a bit more technical to get going.

    I know you want to stay away from 3rd party app (appfoundry) but if you're open to a Genesys-supported option, the Analytics-as-a-Service (A3S) add-on is another route. It provides a Snowflake data warehouse with prebuilt Power BI dashboards and near real-time data.
