    Hi All

    wonder if someone can help, we dial 9 to dial externally and our users are trying to call a German Mobile number which exceeds the 15 digits

    I need to create a dial plan to allow calls to this number with a leading 9, but have been unsuccessful, does anyone have a Dail plan list they can share

    in this particular example, the number format we are trying to dial is 90049 123 12345678

    For something like that you would need to add a Number Plan of the Match Type Regular Expression.

    See https://www.tutorialspoint.com/perl/perl_regular_expression.htm for a detailed tutorial on regular expressions, but for the example you give it could be something like:

    Regex
    I have found in the past that sometimes dialing from the phone sends a different format of number than dialing from the dialpad in the Client UI, so you may have to play with the expression a bit.

    Cool. Keep an eye on it for anomalies. It presumes there will always be two zeroes after the leading "9", and does not allow for someone dialing beyond the 16 digits.
