Can anyone tell me what Genesys is using for their RWP lookup? I am working on an application where I need to assign a skill that corresponds to a state name/postal abbreviation, and I'm trying to find an online API that will be a viable primary source for that data lookup so I don't have to worry about future maintenance. I know I could use a data table but I don't want to be responsible for the maintenance of that table in perpetuity when I'm sure it's being maintained somewhere else. Any suggestions?

Hi Chip,
I have been some queries out internally. Everyone seems to think we use an RWP service internally but no one has been able to pin down which one we use. :(. I do know that we do not expose this as information as a service through our public API.
In doing some literature searches the most common one that seems to come up is: [White Pages Pro Reverse Address)(https://www.programmableweb.com/api/whitepages-pro-reverse-address). I can't endorse it as I have never used it, but it comes up repeatably up in searches. If I hear anything back internally, I will respond back to this post with updated information.
Thanks, John Carnell Manager, Developer Engagement

It would be great if we could get that capability exposed in the public API, though I don't know if that causes licensing issues between Genesys and Ekata (who whitepages pro sold their API to). That would open up a long list of data actions/routing capabilities that I've had customers ask for in the past, such as routing by state, or locality, or more accurate and customized CRM actions. I'd like to avoid going 3rd party to do this, but if that's my only option, then so be it. I was just hoping that if I had to go 3rd party, that it would be a primary source such as a carrier or the FCC.
