  • 1.  Voicemail Notification Delivered with Audio File

    I understand that within the past year VoiceMail and Fax via email can now is now possible for an org set as HIPAA compliant.  We have some parts of the organization that are not under the requirements for HIPAA.  Is there a way to have their VM notifications delivered with the attached audio file?

    Hello Robert, thank you for replying.

    To ensure clarity: Our organization is currently set to HIPAA-compliant with voicemail notifications on, and we receive email notifications today with no attachment.  If we want the voicemail audio file to be included as an attachment in the email notification, would we need to disable HIPPA compliance to enable this feature?

    That is correct.  HIPAA enabled, no attachments.  HIPAA enabled, attachments.  To understand the limitations of HIPAA:  HIPAA compliance - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)
