We've made a few small updates to align with recent Genesys Cloud WFM enhancements
released in December 2025. These updates are now available in Chapter 3.
What's new?
Shift Start Time Variance Across the Planning Period
Maximum Shift Start Time Variance can now be applied across the entire planning period, not just per week. This update is reflected in Chapter 3.4 (Work Plan → General Constraints) and supports more consistent scheduling across multi-week plans.
Activities Relative to Shift End Time
Shift activities (breaks, meals, meetings) can now be configured relative to shift end, in addition to shift start. This enhancement is documented in Chapter 3.6 (Set Up Shift Activities), with new examples to support common use cases.
Route Path Capacity Increase
While WFM now supports up to 2,000 route paths per business unit (upon request), this change does not impact ILT workflows, so no eBook updates were needed. However, we still wanted you to be aware of the increase.
