How can I delete the chat messages in a Official Group?

    Chat messages remain part of the dialog until the chatroom is deleted.

    Not the answer I was hoping for...but a no is also an answer :)

    The only exception is that you have a grace period, immediately after you press enter, during which you can edit the message--including deleting it. In that case, the entry remains, but the message is "this message was deleted".
