  • 1.  Restrict manual outbound international calls, to select users

    We have a need to allow only a subset of agents the permission / ability to manual outbound dial  international numbers.

    We have 4 locations, 2 sites and 4 divisions by Business Unit,  this needs to span all 4 divisions.

    Only concept (untested) I have come up with is to duplicate sites one with international dial plan and one with out, and assign the respective site to phones needing international

    I am hoping that others have had this need and found a solution they are willing to share?

    Yep Pete, with that being part of the dial plan on a site, that is the only way.  We REALLY need a permission for international dialing.  I added an idea for that:  Add permission for International Dialing | Genesys Cloud Ideas Portal (aha.io)

    I agree that ABAC and the new federation stuff looks promising, but I don't think it will address this specifically.  I agree that having no way to restrict user dialing except by site is a shortcoming.
