Genesys Cloud - Main

Customer wants to have 4 standalone phones ring simultaneously when an internal extension is dialed.  Easy to accomplish in PureConnect.  Anyone know of a way to do this in PureCloud?

We can do group ring for people; I don't know of a way to do it for just phones.

I don't know if this will work or not but throwing it out there:

Possibly you could create a dummy user for each of these standalone phones and give them the communicate license only, and make sure to set their default phone and add the user to your group with the ring type set to broadcast.

Then in theory, unless things have changed, calls should ring on those default phones even if the "user" is not logged in.

Hello,

Replying to this so I can follow the discussion in case there are any updates. I am going to have to add 30+ users to my deployment because of this feature loss from PureConnect to Cloud. Seems like an obvious feature, even just allowing a DID to appear on line keys to multiple phones would be useful in this case.
