Can someone help with this please.how to set fatal parameter to a question to a questionnaire, for example there are 10 questions and for the first question if the value is set to false then the total score should be zero.

We had to build custom reports and dashboards to do this.

According to the PureConnect Resource Center for the Yes/No Question View:

    "Importance
To classify this Question, use the Importance drop-down box. Questions can be classified as: Required, if the Question must be answered; Optional, if an answer is not required; or Critical when the Question requires a Yes response to pass the Questionnaire, or a No response to fail the Questionnaire."

So, have you tried creating a Yes/No question and set the Importance to "Critical" to see if it achieves what you want?

I have not had time to try it out on my test system.

    Hi George ,

    Thank you for responding.

We have tried setting the Yes/No question and set the Importance to "Critical". but it is not working.

@Lesley Vereen do you know how the Critical question is supposed to work for PureConnect? Is the Help wrong?

@George Ganahl - The information in Help is misleading and needs to be corrected.  PureConnect does not have an automatic fail on a question level.  So setting a question as Critical actually does not work like an automatic fail if the response to the question is a No or False.  Critical questions do contribute to the Critical Accuracy score - so if the value of the No/False responses are set very low - or to 0 for example the scorecard can result in a failed ranking.  Another option is that the evaluator can see the critical score as they are doing the evaluation so they could also use the manual Fail button to fail the whole scorecard.  The scorecard will still display a score - but will also show an overall Failed.

PureConnect is planning to add "fatal questions" as a scoring option in the future, however I don't currently have a timeframe for that.
    Hope that helps.
    Lesley
