I want to give a couple of people permission to reset user passwords, but do not want them to be able to edit other pieces of the user profiles. I added this permission, but it didn't work.
              Directory  User  setPassword
I also added this permission, but it's still not giving the option to reset the password. In the dropdown next to the user name, the only option in the list is "Edit User" (even though they only have view rights).
    Directory  User  View
    How can I accomplish this?

I don't think the Admin UI is working properly for the Directory>User>setPassword permission.

However, you can teach folks to use the API Explorer in the Developer Center

    https://developer.mypurecloud.com/developer-tools/#/api-explorer

    /api/v2/users/{userId}/password

I tried it with a user who just has the setPassword permission and it works.

You should probably open a case with Care regarding getting it to work in the Admin interface.

Care will probably tell you that it requires the Directory>User>All Permissions setting, because that is what the Resource Center says. However, I think that is just because the permissions got broken a few months ago. They fixed the permission on the API side, but apparently not on the Admin UI side.
