  • 1.  Edges world-wide getting disconnected from EMEA/Dublin cloud

    We just had a problem where our edges randomly showed Disconnected status and then reconnected (Connected state), switching between the two states every minute or so. We are connected in the EMEA/Dublin region. The Purecloud status page showed all green. Since we have different internet providers for our different sites, it looks like the issue was central to Purecloud. During this time, calls got disconnected or stuck.
    It's now back to normal.
    Anyone else who had a similar issue today?

    Are you using PureCloud Voice, or edges in the cloud?

    Resolved - Customers in the EMEA region (Ireland) encountered issues with Edge related services from approximately <g class="gr_ gr_27 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace" id="27" data-gr-id="27">4:23pm</g> to <g class="gr_ gr_28 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace" id="28" data-gr-id="28">4:50pm</g> (Dublin time). The issue has now been resolved. Any impacted customer requesting root cause analysis should open a care case where it will be attached when available.

    We also experienced this issue across 3 different orgs hosted in 3 different locations all on EMEA / Dublin.  The issue occurred between 16:30 and 16:40 BST.  The on premise edges were showing disconnected and calls could not be made.  

    There was definitely an outage on the EMEA region at this time. Raising 3 cases with customer care now. 

    UPDATE: Can see this has now been posted on the status page.

    We use local edges.
    From the status page:
    Resolved - Customers in the EMEA region (Ireland) encountered issues with Edge related services from approximately 4:23pm to 4:50pm (Dublin time). The issue has now been resolved. Any impacted customer requesting root cause analysis should open a care case where it will be attached when available.
