  • 1.  Could not find an Edge for station

    Is anyone familiar with the following error message when making outbound calls using a WebRTC phone?

    Call Error
    Could not find an Edge for station '<yourWebRtcStationHere>' to place the call.

    Some of our users are getting this on every outbound call since this morning. We made a support ticket this morning, but so far they have no ideas. We use virtual edges managed by PureCloud, so nothing on prem.

    Hi @Benjamin Ramsay we had the same issue for a customer this weekend (Sunday). They had to replace the Edge because it had health errors. I am not saying this is the same, because every environment is different, but it could be a similar cause. ​

    Thanks Angelia. I passed that suggestion along in our support ticket. We'll see when/if they reply.

    I even tried creating a new user and a new WebRTC phone, thinking that might serve as a workaround for the users who currently can't dial out. But it's suffering from the same error.

    Support finally ended up just rebooting the virtual edges and that fixed it. Thanks again for the suggestion @Angelia Harper!​
