Hi Dawn, we are having a similar issue, we are getting "Exception creating test object with ARN provided". And we have double checked all the settings. Curious if you were able to get anywhere.
when you enter your ARN Role does it look like this?
arn:aws::xxxxxxxxxxxx:role/name of role?

Hi Mohammed,
Thanks for the reply. Steps we have taken - set up a bucket policy via the policy generator and the test failed. We changed everything to 'public' for a quick test and still, the read error. Do the new privacy regulations impact AWS S3? Does account ID and secret key not work anymore as noted in the IA documentation and an IAM account have to be built? I'll contact AWS support.

Hi Dawn,
Check something called IAM credentials on your S3 Bucket

Hello,
We would like to use AWS S3 for recording storage. I have created a bucket, requested the access ID and secret key. When I enter the credentials in IA->Interaction Recorder->Configuration->Cloud Services Configuration and click test, it returns an error of "The read access failed with the specified configuration". I opened up S3 to public (to test) and got the same error. Any ideas how to get this to work? Note: current set up is an on-prem server storing recordings without issue.
Thanks
