    Looking to finding a way of not having to publish the IVR when updating a wave file.

    You can always try TTS or I believe if you use the Find Prompt feature, that does not require a republish when the prompt is changed.  Maybe @George Ganahl or others can correct me if this is not the case.​

    Correct - Find user prompt is the way to go.  That doesn't require a republish...but it is not instant.  There is a cache involved so it can take a few minutes to actually update and play in your test calls.
