Hello guys,

I enabled a secure flow to be transfered from agent side and within the flow it gets a response code from a web service. I was wondering how to send this code back to agent's script once the secure flow ends. Any suggestions?

Been There, Done that...

There is no configuration to do that... What you can do is a workaround to call a secure data action and store the result somewhere e.g. in a db table and on the script the agent has to click a button and call another data action to fetch this result for you..

I confess that I was ignorant on this one...I sat on the original team that chartered Secure IVR, and at the time it was planned to provide data back to the script for the agent to see (none of the secure data, but other results that could be safely passed back). I see now that the Phase 1 release of Secure IVR was an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) effort, and Phase 2 is now in the works. Phase 2 has a Must for including the data being passed back, but I don't have a timeline on that project right now.

Perhaps @Rebecca Owens can give a little more insight.​

We are hoping to do work on Phase 2 of Secure IVR in 2019. It is a longer more involved project so we don't expect to see any releases to the back end of the year. Please note, this is still all provisional and is not yet locked in.

I spent a few hours trying to figure out how to get the authorization code or payment status to display back to the agent before I came across this article.  It didn't occur to me that we would not be able to pass that info back to the script.  Has anything changed since this post?   This seems to be a big limitation of secure IVR.  In most cases, the agent needs information on whether the transaction was successful.  @Angelia Harper @Julie McNichols​​
