  • 1.  SIP Trunk not Registering

    Hi All,
    i am in the process of configuring a External Trunk, SIP Trunk that uses Authentication.
    I have entered all required info but trunk not registering, error 401

    #SIP/VolP

    Hi Reginald,

    401 is authorization error, so usually it is a username/password/domain issue when trying to authenticate.  Have you double checked these with the carrier?

    Do you have a SIP call flow trace?  I am assuming that you are getting this from the far end?
