Anyone know what would cause "Notification could not be sent (4)" error from running SendCustomNotification.exe? It works from the CIC, but not from some other remote machines.

Did you try specifiying IC server name , user and password as a parameter? Do you get the same error with them as well?

Have you tried to launch it specifying the /u and /p parameters and made sure that the user (/u) has the rights for remote admin set in its user rights section of IA?

Didn't know there were such parameters.. the usage does not mention /u or /p.. Purpose: Send a Custom Notification to the Enterprise Interaction Center Usage: SendCustomNotification [/N=<server>] ObjectID EventID ["Data", ...] Where: ObjectID is a string identifying the Notification Object EventID is a string identifying the Notification Event Data is zero, one or more strings <server> is the name of the EIC server to receive this notification Doesn't seem to make a difference, is there documentation on this app anywhere?

Seems like an install of Interaction Administrator on the machine is required on the machine running SendCustomNotification.exe
