We have a group of users that are Mac users and have requested to use a softphone with our 2017 R3 CIC system. I have tested and validated that I can get a SIP Softphone (X-Lite) working on the Mac with our CIC but in Interaction Connect (because Interactive Desktop doesn't support Macs) it of course does not list a SIP Softphone as a Station Type. How can I setup the Mac SIP Softphone and/or IA Station to act like a Polycom SIP phone in that Interaction Connect can control the device when I make or receive calls, etc...? Thanks in advance! The 3rd party SIP soft phone must register itself as a SIP station to CIC (create manually in the Stations container in Interaction Administrator). Then, in Interaction Connect or other client, choose "Workstation" as the station type and enter the station name as it is configured in Administrator.
