I need help getting Interaction Fax to function properly on a Windows XP Profession SP3 computer. I have attempted to add it as a printer locally, add it as a networked printer through the CIC server, I re-installed Interaction Client multiple times, multiple ways including with and without the SU 10 SU 12 updates, I have even tried replacing the computer and nothing has worked. Please help me resolve this incredibly frustrating problem. By the way, we use Interaction Center 3.0 on Windows 2003 Servers if that helps. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

No it is 32-bit.

Well, there goes my only idea. Without looking at the machine, it's hard to picture what's going on :-)

The installation logs for the client install mught give a clue. ".int" files, if they exist, but you'll have to search for them.

You should not need to install the fax print driver as you would a network or shared printer. Selecting the Interaction Fax component of IC User Apps to be installed on the local machine should be all that is required. What is the problem that you are having with Interaction Fax?

I'm now having the same problem installing IC SU12 on a Win7 x86 machine. Interaction Fax does not show up as a printer under "Devices and Printers". Any ideas?

If this is a 64-bit workstation, the fax client will need to be installed separately. If you do not already have the 64-bit fax client package installed on your CIC server, you'll need to download and install it there to create the share, etc.

All of our PCs with XP OS are unable to send a fax using Interaction Fax. We are on Version 3 SU15. When users select Interaction Fax from printer selection we get the attached error. This started on 11/22/2013 after we rolled out windows update for the moth of November. The error is "The file C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\PRN1A.I3F does not contain any valid fax formatted images and cannot be loaded."
