For me, it's either Cooking Shows or
SCARY STORIES! When I was a kid, I wanted to be a Scary Story Teller. It all started with "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," Scooby Doo," "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" and crescendoed with "Are you Afraid of the Dark?". I loved going to the library and reading scary short stories or Goosebumps. In Boy Scouts, I made a Scary Story Box to keep all of my books and I still have it.
For what it's worth, it's not the aspect of horror or scares that's appealing it's the group experience. I do love horror movies, but I would never watch a horror movie alone. Not because I'm scared but because so much is lost in the audience response. So, I love going to Haunted/Spooky event. The two best that I've ever been to are "Sleep No More" in NYC and "Halloween Horror Nights" at Universal Studios.
I still collect horror and scary story memorabilia. My latest purchase is these fake Goosebump Covers of modern horror movies.

Subject: What is your favorite fandom?
After the Harry Potter Trivia event, the community is dying to know what everyone's favorite fandom is? From Cooking Shows to Marathons, I bet we have a wide range of interests. Can't wait to hear where everyone's devotions stand.
