  • 1.  What are the minimum permissions needed to be able to assign skills

    Good day everyone,
    One of our customer wants  the supervisors to be able to assign skills to the agents. But the supervisors shouldn't have any other unwanted / unnecessary admin possibilities.
    There's a 'routing/skills/assign' permission, but it's not enough.
    During my tests I ended with the following permissions at a minimum:
    'general/admin',
    'general/employee',
    'general/user manager',
    'routing/skills/assign',
    'routing/skills/manage'.
    The problem is that with those permissions, you can already do too much admin (full admin of the Bridge, org parameters,...).
    Do any of you has similar findings ?
    This sounds like a bug to me.

    We are going to be releasing a fix for this issues this Wednesday, July 18th. Users will now be able to assign skills without full administrator access. To assign skills, add the Routing > Skill > Assign permission to any role. Thanks for the feedback!

    Hi,
    Following this week update, I did some tests again and found that while the General / Admin permission isn't needed any more, you cannot effectively assign skills if you just have the Routing / Skills / Assign permission.
    Unless you also have the Routing / Skills / Manage permission, you cannot see the available skills in the input field; you only get the spinning wheel forever.
    Can someone please confirm this is a bug (and that it will be taken care of).
