One of our customer is asking to have Virtual Edges deployed on VMWare (vmware esxi 6.7 platform).

But in the Resource Center, we find that this is only available for HyperV.

Is this possible?

This can be the case for many of our customers willing to use Virtual Edges.

A quick update for you:

As many customers are now starting to leverage "all cloud" architectures using PCV & BYOC, this means that a VMWare is very unlikely to be put onto the roadmap for further development. It's also worth noting that we do not recommend virtual Edges are actually deployed in a production environment.... If you really need an Edge to be present, then you should always consider a HW variant where possible.

I have run Virtual Edge successfully on VMWare Workstation and performance is OK (I used it for development / testing). However, it is not formally supported. One of the keys is to have stable Internet connection which allows all SIP, RTP traffic to properly pass through.
