  • 1.  No Inbound and Outbound

    Hi, Anyone have an experience of intermittent no inbound and no outbound issue using DMV600BTEP, DI/SI and HDSI dialogic cards. When they experience the issue, they cannot make outbound call and cannot received inbound call but intercom calls are okay. The quick fix is to unplug and replug the e1 cable. We are using IC2.4 SU30 and Dialogic SR 6.0 SU 261. Thanks, Ariel

    Have you checked that clocking is setup correctly. IF you are receiving a lot of frame slips that removing the cable and putting back in will probably reset the clock. Check you Supervisor plugins, New -> System -> Telephony Status. If you right click on any of your spans you will be able to see any errors, maybe have to go back to your vendor or your telco if there are any. Regards Jason

    Have you looked at the telephony application notes for Dialogic? I remember in the older versions of CIC you had to make some setting changes to Dialogic to ensure that it released the channels correctly otherwise the line would lock up. It is possible that these settings changes don't need to be made anymore as I have not used a carded solution in a couple years.

    Hi MarkT, Yes, I have followed all of that. This issue is intermittent. If they experience the issue, i would check on the supervisor and i see no alarms. We again experience the issue this morning and before reseating the e1 cable, I tried to make an outbound call. From the attached screenshot, you will see that my two lines are green which means no d-channel errors. It seems like my DMV600BTEP is locked up.

    When you try to dial out during the issue I assume the server disconnects what message is displayed? The next time you have this issue I might suggest turning up logging on TSServer to see if the log can show why you are having issues.
