  • 1.  "Click to call" button in incoming e-mail interaction.

Hello, My Customer wishes to have a button, next to telephone number included in the incoming e-mail message. This button would start dialing the number. Customer is on SU8 so I think that it should be quite simple to modify html message body in two steps: 1- search for telephone number like string, 2-insert a link that initiate dialing when clicked. This is just an idea, do you think it could work, or you have better idea? I am concerned about dialing button, I think the most simple way to make it work would be to make the button fire a custom notification on the agents pc. This notification would then be handled on the server. Regards, Ernest

The terminals that have the client installed will recognize the tel: shortcut. You could probably make the button a tel:7771234567 (for example), and it should kick off a call in the client. Paul
