All, Has anyone been successful in creating and registering a DAWORDLIST grammar file within a handler? We're running 4.0 SU4 and believe we'll need to use a Directory Assistance grammar file in order to build an application that will allow for a near 15,000 entry directory to be used w ASR. We're running Nuance Recognizer 10. From what documentation we've found from Nuance you can create a .txt file that includes ::DAWORDLIST at the top as that's required, there are a couple optional tags after then then each directory entry name needs to be on its own line. When I try to register the grammar in a handler I get a message badfetch.grammar.mode and Invalid or multiple modes. Any ideas or any experience with using the DAWORDLIST grammar format? Regards, Shane

In case this helps someone else down the road. For a DA Wordlist grammar file, you can use a .txt file in UTF-8 format. You only need to include the ::DAWORDLIST as the top line of the grammar file with the language such as en-us and then each subsequent directory entry on its own line: Short example: ::DAWORDLIST en-us JOHN DOE JANE DOE When you register this grammar via the Reco Register Grammar tool step be sure to point to the correct Grammar URI which would be the path to the .txt file and specify the Grammar Type as "application/x-swi-wordlist" and Grammar Mode of "voice" If you have the text file created properly and the Reco Register Grammar tool step setup correctly, then you should be all set. Also you may want to confirm you have no special characters in your word list as this could potentially lead to the grammar failing. Regards, Shane
