We're using custom HTML scripts for scripter (ie, we specify a link in the #dialer campaign configuration to a custom web page on our own server).

I've got a fresh install of #Scripter 2017r2 on a virtual machine running Win10 Enterprise.

When updating the script on our site, I can't get Scripter to load the most recent version without a reboot and sometimes not even then.  I suspect it must be caching it in some systems temp dir someplace, but am not sure.  I loaded the page in two browser on the machine, IE11 and Chrome, and the source shows the most recent version..  The timestamp on the webserver''s source file is as expected as well.

How can I force Scripter to always go to the server to load a script page?  I do have access to the IIS server they are hosted and did add response headers to expire immediately, but to no effect.

    Tyler,

I opened a case with Genesys a while back and they said that scripter is running in IE7 comparability mode so you will be stuck using the helper HTTP tags from IE7. I've seen the web developers use the no cache helpers:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49547/how-do-we-control-web-page-caching-across-all-browsers/2068407#2068407 or https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1341089/using-meta-tags-to-turn-off-caching-in-all-browsers

    Thanks,

Thanks Mark.  I did post back my own solution to this thread but it doesn't look like it stuck - the forums seem to be kind of broken in general, things like images and links don't work, etc.

Anyway, I went into the Windows Internet options and checked the box for "Always check for new version of page".  That solved it.
