  • 1.  Display name on analog Stations vs IP Phones

Hello while setting up a new Environment at work I noticed that Analog stations (stand-alone phone) will display the Station Name for internal calls while IP stations (Managed Workstations) will display what is listed in the Label.   is there a way to change the analog (stand-alone Station) to display a label instead of the station name.

OK, so they are both using the SIP ID.

With a Managed IP phone, by default this is the same as the label, whereas with an unmanaged station, it is whatever you have set it up to be, which sounds like it's the station name?

    thanks for the reply.
actually the IP phone has a Sip ID of something like RSP1234 and displays the label of "1234 username" while the analog phone has a name of RS6789 and displays 6789. i'm looking to find a way (without changing the name of the analog station) to display "6789 username"  does this make sense?
    thanks again.
