    How can we disable or hide the Chat bot on our website based on the schedule?

    Hi Rechelle

    The display of the widget is controlled by your website's business logic, not by Genesys. So your website would have to hide it after hours. Now your website could use Genesys API's to retrieve a schedule, and then make decision based on that retrieved results as an option. But really it is your website that controls the display of the launcher.

    Hi Recehelle,

    We do this using JS on the source code. So, if is out of hours then we display a page with chat hours. Otherwise, we display the chat widget.

    Rechelle, im not pushing this product, but it is something you could look at to be able to manage your Web deployments with ease.

    They are on the AppFoundry also.
    They created a very friendly UI to setup when what is displayed and you can also have multiple channels via the same Web widget. (WebRTC calling, Callbacks etc)
