I saw this list yesterday and thought it was interesting. Some surprises along the way. Did your favorite(s) make the list or get snubbed? I laughed a little when I saw Twilight Zone so high, but it makes perfect sense to me:

While I have watched a number of these shows, there are SO MANY I haven't watched. Someday when my kids aren't constantly taking over the TV I will have to get to business.

Now that you mention it, I am surprised the list does not have a single cartoon on it that I can see. I wonder if they were intentionally left off or didn't make the cut? As someone who adores animation, maybe we need your kids' version of this list. Justice for Spongebob!

With only 5 shows pre 2000, and no mention of ground breakers like MASH or All in the family,  it makes me wonder who the audience was for polling, and what were the parameters.

I couldn't help myself and did some research on the cartoon front. I see that Meta Critic has two votes, one for critics ratings and one for audience, so I started there. That site was launched before 2010, so a lot of shows before launch do not have any ratings and, to Pete's point, I bet Mash and some others fall into that category, but how does that explain the inclusion of "Twilight Zone"? Well...put your coffee/tea down.

Interestingly, scandalously(?),  "Twilight Zone" does NOT have a rating on the Meta Critic site! The score is "TBD". [Insert soap-opera gasp.]

I'll alert The Times. This data may have been rigged.
