Hello Genesys Community.  We are happy to announce some upcoming improvements to the performance views column picker.

Visual Changes

The column picker has been updated to a new visual component library.  We believe that you will find these more visually appealing components to be an improvement over the existing components.

Behavioral Changes

Changes you make to column selections while the column picker is open will no longer be updated immediately.  The new workflow is to open the column picker, make all of your desired column selections (or deselections) and then click the "Save" button.  Changes will not take effect until the "Save" button is clicked.  If you click "Cancel," no changes will be saved.  This improves the efficiency of the column picker and view.

We have also made accessibility improvements.  You can use keyboard navigation to move around the column picker and modify your selections.

Sorting and Group By

We have replaced the existing sort toggle link with a dropdown link that allows you to sort alphabetically ascending or descending.  Sorting alphabetically is existing functionality, but we have also added a "Group by Categories" option here.  This allows you to see the available columns arranged in related groups.

Hi! Is this release based on any idea from AHA? 
I think it will be a major change for the users, where they need to save the picked columns instead of just ticking the box. Will this save button help the views "remember" the selection or every time a view is open it is going to be reset to default?
