@Prem Venkatesh that is the correct behavior. Since the interaction is in focused, any new message is immediately visible in the transcript hence notification is not necessary. This approach reduces the amount of notifications agent receives and increases visibility for those not in focused.

@Ricky Phung Yes the screenshot is from GC UI.
Notifications are related to web messaging interactions.
Previously it used to send a notification when the interaction is in focus, but now it only sends a notification if it is not in focus.

Is it possible to disable web messaging interaction notifications in the web UI? Though I have turned off the desktop notifications, it is still sending the alerts when new messages are received.
i.e. When the agents are handling multiple web messaging interactions, and when the customer responds there is a notification on the top right side.
